Outer Banks of North Carolina
These pictures were mainly taken in the central part of the island. The northern end was totally
developed and even had a Home Depot and Wal-Mart. We didn't take any photos on that end. We left
on 168 and came up to camp about 3 miles into VA on our way to the Chesapeake tunnel . Not looking
forward to doing that as I am claustrophobic

Beautiful windblown dunes
Unspoiled dunes and vegetation behind the dunes. The road
was one lane in places as the stormy weather the night before
had moved an incredible amount of sand onto the road.
