We spent most of the day in the French Quarter. It was beautiful. There was only one problem and that was that there were not
enough people around to enjoy it. Several people told us that the tourist trade which is the lifeblood of the city has not come back t
per hurricane levels and blame the media for the problems. We certainly saw very little hurricane related problems in the French
Quarter and wish tourist and their dollars would return. I had not been there since 1963 and Nancy had not been there since she
was a small child. It was very exciting. We got in early in the morning and were able to spend most of the day there. Overate a lot
