I had always been very curious about the Mormon faith. There were a lot of stories around the Romney run
for president that also sparked my interest. As I suspected most were stupid. We were very impressed with
the Mormons and what they have done in Salt Lake. We got a guided tour by two young ladies (one from
Norway and one from Italy) around the grounds and building in the area. Mormons seem to be very devout
and very family oriented people. The children after high school go on a 2 year mission trip somewhere in the
world to help the poor and to expand their church. They have many businesses and such to help the poor in
Salt Lake and all over the world. They believe the bible and also have "the Book of Mormon" in addition.
There were 1,000's of people in the area as Salt Lake is the world's headquarters for the religion. We say
many marriages as we were there on Saturday. They marriages were taking place in the Temple where tours
were not allowed, but they all seemed to be into their 20's or older. I believe that they get married after the 2
year after high school mission and many after college.  I think the sect in the news for polygamy and
childhood marriages broke away over 100 years ago.
