Little Rock, Arkansas
We stopped by Little Rock to see our friends Jo and Mac Hart who had Hart's Country Store in Mount Dora. They
have sold the store and moved to Little Rock. We stayed with them for nights and parked the rig outside of their
apartment. Nancy loved the hot bath. We went on a tour of the city and learned lots of interesting stuff. Little Rock
was the scene of the first forced school integration in the South. The school is now a national park as well as a
working high school. We also saw the Clinton presidential library. It is affectionately know as the "Big Penis" in Little
Rock. Looked like a big single wide trailer to me. We went to a great state park and had lunch. A set of killer
thunderstorms and tornado's came thru on Friday morning and we left a little early and had no problems. There
were 6 people killed due to tornado North of Little Rock and lots of heavy rains and expressway flooding that we
missed by about an hour.
