Katherine Hanna Park Second Time
We had really enjoyed Katherine Hanna Park our first trip and decided to go back again. It is a park owned y
the city of Jacksonville, FL and very pretty. We had 3 days available and decided to take advantage of it. Our
daughter was is going in for some surgery on Monday, so we will have to get back by then. We had a site right
across from the bathroom and it was a little noisy, but all in all a great place. We are trying to see a lot of
Florida's historical places. We also visited Kingsley Plantation and the next door Ribault club as well as Fort
Clinch and Fort Caroline.
There is a wonderful place to eat in Mayport about 4 miles away. We had heard the Carnival Cruise lines was putting in a large terminal there
and would e taking the restaurant fish house. We found out that out would not affect the place. The food is very good as you can see.
View from outside dining.
SInce 911, the Navy has helicopter patrolled the area 24/7.
You get used to it in the campsite.

Birds left us a present while we were eating. For the rich, they sing.
