Mayport is located at the mouth of the St. John's river and runs into the Atlantic. There is a large seafood fishing industry in the area and
some great seafood restaurants in the area. We ate seafood every meal for 4 days except for breakfast. The ferry was only $3.00.

This is a restaurant across from the ferry (North side) called the
Sand Dollar. We drove around the 25 mile way and then took the
ferry back.
