About 5 years ago while sitting on the front porch of the Bed and Breakfast and saw an adult red fox come walking
down the center of the street, make a 90 degree right turn and walk down our side walk to the back yard. We went
inside and peeked into the back yard to see that a family of 4 baby foxes (kits) had moved in under our
shed/workshop I had built. They ended up staying 8 days and the kits which we fed would come out and play in the
morning and late afternoon. The parents were nocturnal and we would see them occasionally sleeping under a bush.
We fed them table scraps and looked up quite a bit of information about them. We were about 1 block from the center
of the town and this isn't unusual for urban foxes. Below are some photos we took of them.
