Our 5 day Carnival Cruise to Key West and Nassau
Nancy gave me a cruise for Christmas. I studied long and hard to find us a 5 day cruise at a great price. We only had to row 3 hours
a day each. We were above th waterline and had a real window. The room was very nice with a king bed. It had lots of storage and
we would book it again. Service was excellent. We did feel sorry for the crew as they work so hard and long for apparently very little
money, They are all from third world countries. We never met one who was not extremely friendly and polite. The ship was very
complicated and we kept our map with us most of the time. It had 14 decks (11 open to us) and the large atrium in the middle. The
galley blocked off several floors in the middle and you couldn't go all the way through with out going over or under. The food was very
good and all free. We loved the food and ate way too much. I have always wanted to do a cargo cruise and think I am going to talk
Nancy into one. We read a lot also. Key West was very nice, but way too short. We might go back in the RV sometimes. Nassau was
a big disappointment. It was a big tourist trap and most of the stuff was from China. Not sure why that surprised me, All in all it was a
great time. I might get Nancy one for her birthday and anniversary too.

The center of the ship had a 6 story atrium. It was amazing.
One deck above the pool.
3 water slides
This was a little hideaway called Serenity. We spent a lot of time here.
Two story show theater.
Harbor entrance.
Pilot Boat leaving Jacksonville canal
The cabin stewards made different animals out of the towels. This is a walrus on the left and 2 walrus on the right.
Eating lunch out on the fantail. Note Nancy has her usual 3 or 4 deserts. I was hoping I could get my beard cornrowed in Nassau.
This was our intended main dinning room, but we ate around a lot at the
smaller less formal places for breakfast and lunch,
Nancy and Miss Scarlet. Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.
I thought they had Surf and Turf. They didn't have it on the menu, but
gave me two entries, lobster/shrimp and then prime rib. I had always
thought Surf and Turf was catfish and a bologna sandwich.
Cherries Jubilee
Nancy had this melted chocolate cake at least once per day.
This was ":Putting on the Ritz". We saw several comedy shows there
Pig Towel.
