Camden/Rockport, ME area
We had been in Camden and Rockport in the early 90's and found them to be unspoiled fishing villages.
Rockport still is, but Camden seems to have become very commercialized and yuppy like. Lin and sick for
part of the time with a stomach virus. Rockport was extremely beautiful and we took many pictures. We
took the pictures of the father/son lobster men loading the boat and then going out.
Rockport harbor
We watched these guys load up. They will usually have between
500 and 700 pots and have to check them every two days.
Part of an old foundry.
Notice the tidal change by the height of the dock.
Same Lobster boat going out. We heard that a lobsterman can
make around $100,000 per year and take off November thru March.
