Booth Bay, ME area
We stayed 2 days at a great campground called Little Ponderosa (like in Hoss and Little Joe). It was in the
pines and backed up to a great little tidal creek that had a 6 to 8 foot tidal change. Just wonderful view (see
below.) I got my Father's Day gift of a Maine Sweatshirt a day early here. We cooked lobster in our lobster
pot and it was just great. The Lobsterman's COOP had be sold to an individual and is now called the
Lobster Wharf. It was very good and the seagulls till try to steal your food.
The next 3 sets of 2 pictures were taken at the same place at different times of day to show the changes in tide of up to 8 feet Amazing.
We saw the remains of this burned castle while driving around
Freeport.
