Acadia Nation Forest Mount Desert Island, ME
Acadia National Forest is one of the prettiest nation forest in the US. It was home to the Rockefeller's,
Astor's, and Vanderbilt's back in the heyday before Income taxes. We bought a CD that took us
through the forest at our own pace. It was a great way to see the park. Nancy drove and I navigated
which was a first for the trip. We went all the way up Cadillac mountain and down into thunder hole. It
is truly a wonderful experience.

A beaver nest in a beaver pond.
Falcons live on this cliff. 23 young have been hatched since they
were reintroduced.
One of the few beaches in the park. People were actually swimming in the
56 degree water.
Several shots of Thunder Hole.
