Norther Door County WI
There are about 75 Great Lakes merchant ships and 35 are out of
service due to the economy. 10 ore carriers are moored here until
things pick back up.
Beautiful stone bluffs
The leaves were just starting to turn.
We stumbled upon a local sotball team having a brat's fry. They were
wonderful and cheap too.
Each town along the Western side of the penisula had it's own marina and
shopping district. Ther were every 5 miles or so. This one is Egg Harbor.

This reminded us of the old Thad Wilson's as kids.
Beautiful homes and rentals were everywhere.
The tug boat was at the great wooden boat show we attended.
Traffic was thick in the quaint little towns, but OK inbetween.

Exactly just like a soloum I had as a kid. Our daughter Mary Lynn went to
school with the son of Dick Pope Jr and the grandson of Sr, who started
Cypress Gardens.
