Even though we managed to drive less than 3 hours today, we were in 4 states. Started off in Va, went through Maryland, into
Delaware, and then took the ferry over to Cape May, New Jersey. Ferry was pretty rolly, but we survived. Ended up saying at
Sea Shore Campground. Found it by accident, but it is pretty nice. Got it for about 1/2 price as the season hasn't started yet.
They have pay showers. Put in a quarter and the water comes on. Think we will shower in the coach. No WiFi, but one is
scheduled to be installed Friday they say. Cape May is filled with wonderful old houses that we love. There are about 200
B&B's here. We had the best meal of the trip at the Lobster House at the Cape May Harbor. We got it to go and ate it at the
docks. A camper from Leesburg, LL told u how to do this and it was about 1/2 price,
Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey
The captain asked me to stay amidships as I was affecting the trim of the
vessel.
Our daughter asked for more pictures of us, so here is one.
Nice old sailing ship that had been there several days.
Going aboard.
Harbor lighthouse
Some of the cars in the bow. The ferry has 100 spaces.
We took up 3.
Smaller ferry going the other way.
