Another Cool Waters House
We looked at another Cool Waters house that was right across the street from Amber's house that we came very
close to buying. It was newly on the market. Pros were 150 feet on Wolf Creek as shown below. It was very
steep getting down there and I would have to install about 60 railroad ties to make a stair way and do a whole lot
of limb cutting to be able to hear the noise stream. It would be wonderful  except for this. The washer and dryer
were also in the basement which Nancy definitely didn't like. There was also no level ground for a shop/shed
and we would have to use a part of the basement which was in the process of being finished. The design was
similar to the other ones built by M. Mathis, but the upstairs had  single dormer and the sleeping area was
slanted. Nancy  definitely did not like that concept and said she would get claustrophobia. Also felt the price was
too high. The creek was adding about $75,000 and with the location of it, would be hard to enjoy.
Beautiful creek area, but so steep to enjoy.
House itself was typical Mathis construction, with the mentioned exceptions.
Nancy said she would rarely come down due to the steepness. I could put in railroad ties to make some steps, but it would still be a hike.
Path up to the cabin.
